Good location. Good atmosphere, not 'just another hotel room'.
Breakfast could be improved.

Already second time at this hotel and satisfied for 100% The staff is very friendly and helpful, even arrived later we had the possibility to enter the room. The rooms (we were in the usual room and in the apartment) are clean with some flair - through the good old furniture and general spirit of the room. Centrally located - just few steps to the metro and bus station, also very close to famous shops like Chanel, Valentino and to the High shopping street. A lot of restaurants around - my personal recommendation for Xantener Eck in front of the hotel. Delicious country breakfast just for 5-6 Euro. Total zufrieden und jederzeit gerne wieder!
In the room some socket are out of the function. Tableware can be a bit more suited for longer stay - I missed wine and beer glasses in the room. It would be also not bad to equip the rooms (at least apartments) with an iron.

It is only 100m away from a subway station, that is very helpful to go to the city centre. In the nearby there are some nice restaurants that stay open for a late dinner.
When we arrived there was nobody at the reception and it was closed with a sign saying to call a phone number. Then a guy appeared and his English was very poor so we tried our best in German. We had a private parking spot, but the following morning we were told we couldn't use it anymore, so we had to look for a public place in the streets nearby (which was not easy).

First of all, the staff is most friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond what you normally expect. Secondly, the room was beautiful and had a kitchen and a balcony. The location is perfect for access to the shopping at Ku'Dam. Overall, the best stay I've had in Berlin over the past 2 years. When I return to Berlin I would love to stay here if it is available :)
This is not a negative on the hotel. However, a city like Berlin has many hotels that offer very little in value for the amount you spend. When you have traveled to almost a hundred cities, you tend to rate Berlin hotels' price vs what you get as sub-par (unless you fancy spending €100/night).

Classy and traditional. The walls were quite thin. Perhaps the guest next door was also just loud - yelling, coming home at odd hours of the night, etc. Not completely sanitary. One of the drinking glasses was full from the previous guest... Not sure what that was about!

There're useful bus lines to visit sight seeing places from the bus stop close to this hotel, and around this hotel, many places to eat out. And the room was very nice for its "JugendStil".
Actually, the room we booked and stayed had a balcony outside of the windows, but there was not exit to that balcony, and only the next room had the exit to there. And the guests of the next room smoked at that balcony just in front of the window of my room in midnight, so we got somehow disguisted with that.

Location is ok, and place is comfortable, spacious, clean. Bed is comfortable.
Please don't be fooled by this hotel!!! The internet did not work all the time, and we had no power for 3 days. Plus since there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, some water got on the floor accidentally, but we got charged for an extra $150 us because the floor was leaking downstairs, and they charged our card without telling us!! This is a scam. The price might be cheap, but they will find ways to charge you to make it even. Be Careful!!

The best was the parrot/tropical wall in the reception. Room was ok, bad beds though and behind beds not so clean. Lousy wifi connection. Otherwise good location and reasonably priced.
Rather unfreindly/uncaring staff who should learn more abt customer service. And the breakfast area is not cosy whatsoever, rather uncreative.

The staff was so super friendly and called me with an info without even asking for it. Hotel reception closes at 10pm, but they left key especially for me at a nearby restaurant. Super nice!

Lovely room with atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom with bathtub was also really nice. Good breakfast and helpful personnel too.
The location was not in one of my favorite parts of Berlin but it's easy to get to other areas with the U-bahn or S-bahn close by.
